Stumers Creek is a fantastic little beach with a creek running out to the ocean just to the north of Coolum on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. It's a popular spot for locals and is a great beach for the dogs :)

I recently took a group there from one of our Sketchbook workshops. It was baking hot on the day and all the students retreated into the shade after I did a quick demo painting.

This painting is one of several I am doing using the gouache sketch from that workshop
