This painting was inspired by a trip down the Great Ocean Road. The location is between Lorne and Airleys Inlet. It was a stormy day with brief breaks in the rain. At one point the sun rays broke through the clouds and lit up the crashing waves.

This painting was seven years in the making. It was started shortly after the trip down the Great Ocean Road when we lived in Geelong. When we moved to Noosa it was packaged up (incomplete) and not looked at again until recently.

I decided to finish it off as a painting demonstration via live stream
