Many times I have drive across the bridge at Tallebudgera Creek on the Gold Coast Highway and glanced down at the hidden beach tucked in behind the Burleigh Head National Park.

So many times I thought to myself 'I must stop and investigate' as I continued driving by.

On this particular occasion though the sun was just at that perfect angle that it lit up the little cove. It was enough to make a grown artist crash the car.

I quickly found a parking spot and headed off to explore. Glad I did as it truly is a magic little spot to catch some sun, relax and let the world dissolve into the background.

My head was filled with the words to the song 'Echo Beach far away in time' as I snapped off photos for future paintings.
