A brand new art gallery is set to open in Cooroy in the Noosa Hinterland this November.

The gallery, founded by Noosa artist Rod Moore, will open in Opal Street Cooroy on the 20th November. With a focus on Impressionist style work the gallery will feature Australian Impressionist Artists and Contemporary Impressionists. 

"Our mission is to promote impressionist artists and their works via a curated gallery and online gallery. We have a passion for Australian Impressionism and Contemporary Impressionism and look forward to opening a space in the Noosa Hinterland just focused on this style of art" says founder Rod Moore.

The gallery will primarily feature the works of Rod Moore and internationnaly acclaimed impressionist artist Robert Hagan. Exhibition opportunities will also be made available other artists in time.

Robert Hagan is one of the worlds great Impressionist Artists working today. His work features figures in movement and capture the imagination of the viewer. Collectors around the world see the investment value of Roberts work. Primarily selling through USA galleries Robert's work has not been readily available for viewing and purchase in Australia for many years. Now Moore Art Gallery aim to make Robert Hagan's art available for sale in the new Cooroy art gallery.

Founder Rod Moore has been personally mentored by artists like Robert Hagan, John Wilson, Brian Cook and more. In recent times Moore's work has developed into his own unique approach to representing the impressionist landscape. His work varies in subject from dry and dusty outback scenes to the various beaches and rivers around Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. Utilising various mark making techniques including the palette knife, Rod's work captures the essence of the scenes he paints.
